5 statements on: why art?

- Because art is a space created by complex combination of intersecting substances. It has no limits and comprises everything.

- Because art allocates common grounds and enables togetherness.

- Because art changes the perception of time, as art slows down events, art is now.

- Because art offer new understandings through challenging challenging prevailing orders.

- Because art counterpose progress by inserting other systems of values.

The Hills håller svetslågan brinnande med primitivt puttrande trampdynor, hypnotiska, repetitiva ukuleleriff och skimrande melodier. Med ett sound inspirerat av den Gävlefödda fackaktivisten Joe Hill blir det förflutna aldrig poserande retrotrend hos The Hills. Det är inget bibliografiskt projekt, utan ett tillvägagångssätt. The Hills låter varken som något du tidigare hört eller som något nytt. Det händer nu.

Kampsång, stängda dörrar och hemmagjorda discon där skosnören har snörats upp för att binda band på dansgolvet. The Hills sjunger inte med en gemensam röst utan med flera motstridiga röster samtidigt. Det handlar om samarbete, om att arbeta och att göra det ihop. Vid scenkantens slut öppnas dörrar för nya samarbeten där politik kan praktiseras i tidlös D-moll. The Hills har mer styrka än talang, tillsammans låter det alltid bättre.

Detta är debuten som tar ukulelerockens monotona motorväg från stålstaden Stockholm till järnverksstaden Gävle. I härdade öron låter det maniskt, malande och helt magnifikt. Resultat uppnås via kollektiva solidariska aktioner, med andra ord: “Sörj inte, organisera er!”

allowing us to go beyond gravity bound.

the queer emancipation will be embraced.
A new season is about to begin
laziness and adventures lies therein.
Again we will shelter what we hold dear
again the path of E-hearts each other adhere.
The troops of trouble light will cast shadow and create common matter
land and intelligence will be levelled and flatter.
The only boundary of what soon will come
is that the sky has no limit which is quite awsome.
